Goldman Drives In Five as Old School Rolls Past Manganelli Fitness, 21–4

Alex Goldman went 4-for-4 with a home run and five RBIs as Old School Softball Club cruised to a 21–4 victory over Manganelli Fitness on Monday.

Old School wasted no time taking control, scoring five runs in the top of the first inning. Goldman and Anthony Rodriguez each delivered RBI singles, Roberto Cespedes drove in two runs with a triple, and Ryan Colón added an RBI double.

The offense broke the game open with eight more runs on 10 hits in the second. John Rodriguez and Colón each doubled home a run, while Goldman, Anthony Rodriguez, Cespedes, Fred Martinez and Kip Demogenes contributed RBI singles. Randy Santana also brought home a run with a groundout.

Old School continued to add on in the third. Goldman launched a three-run home run, Cespedes recorded his second RBI triple of the game, and Colón capped the five-run inning with a sacrifice fly.

Old School finished with 24 hits in a complete team effort. Goldman and Anthony Rodriguez led the way with four hits apiece, while Colón, Max Blank, Joe Torres and Cespedes also recorded multiple hits. Santana drew two of the team’s six walks as Old School remained patient at the plate throughout the game.
