Isaac Woofter Leads the Way as Old School Beats Public Enemy, 15–5

Old School Softball Club kept rolling Wednesday night at Chelsea Park, beating Public Enemy 15–5 behind a big night from Isaac Woofter and a strong team-wide hitting performance.

Woofter went 3-for-3 with two doubles, a triple, and three runs driven in. He doubled in the first, cleared the bases with a triple during Old School’s huge second inning, and added another double in the third.

Old School broke the game open in the second inning, scoring 10 runs to take control. Billy Hatzinikolaou started the scoring in the inning with an RBI single, followed by Woofter’s three-run triple. John Rodriguez and Roberto Cespedes each added RBI singles, Matt Wong and Barry Weisselberg each brought in a run on fielder’s choices, and Will Wilson capped the rally with a two-run single.

Old School first got on the board in the bottom of the first when Rodriguez doubled in a run. Ryan Colón added an RBI single in the third to stretch the lead to 13–0.

In the fourth, Weisselberg lasered a solo home run, and Wilson doubled in another run to push the lead to 15–0.

Old School finished with 21 hits. Woofter, Rodriguez, Fred Martinez, and Wilson each had three hits, while George Colón, Cespedes, and Ryan Colón also had multi-hit games.
