Old School Falls to Wayward in a Well-Played, Close Battle

Old School Softball Club fell 4–3 to Wayward on Friday at Dewitt Clinton. Billy Hatzinikolaou led Old School with two hits.

A single by Will Wilson put Old School on the board in the bottom of the second inning. Wilson went 1-for-2 at the plate and led the team with two RBIs.

Old School showed strong patience at the plate, drawing seven walks. Jimi Rossi and Andy Santana led the team with two walks each.

Christian Brown pitched very well, keeping Old School in the game against the top-hitting team in the league and striking out three batters.

Old School played error-free defense and turned two double plays in a strong effort in the field.

The playoff quarterfinals begin next, with each series played as a best of three.
