Old School Battles but Falls to the Local 42 Renegades, 7–4

Old School Softball Club put together a strong offensive effort but came up short in a 7–4 loss to the Local 42 Renegades on Wednesday at Chelsea Park.

Old School moved back in front during the bottom of the second inning. Randy Santana started the rally with an RBI double, another run scored on a Renegades error, and Will Wilson followed with a run-scoring single.

Wilson led the offense, going 2-for-3 with two RBIs. Isaac Woofter, Jake Ingmar and Roberto Cespedes also collected two hits apiece, giving Old School several productive performances throughout the lineup.

The team remained patient at the plate and drew six walks, including two by Fred Martinez. Despite creating plenty of opportunities, Old School was unable to finish off the comeback.
