Seven-Run Third Inning Powers Old School Past QAB, 12–1

Old School Softball Club used a seven-run third inning to pull away for a convincing 12–1 victory over QAB on Friday at DeWitt Clinton Park.

The lineup came alive throughout the decisive inning. Frank Cerillo opened the scoring surge with a two-run single, Isaac Woofter added an RBI single, and Ryan Colón drove in two more runs with another base hit. Randy Santana followed with an RBI double, and Barry Weisselberg capped the inning with a sacrifice fly.

Old School finished the game with 16 hits as the offense produced from top to bottom. Weisselberg led the way with a perfect 3-for-3 performance, while he and Colón each drove in three runs.

Cerillo, Michael Peckins and Will Wilson also recorded multiple hits, helping Old School keep the pressure on throughout the game and secure another strong team victory.
